A REPUBLIC DAY MESSAGE

We are going to celebrate the 65th  Republic day  of India  in a few days 

India gained its independence on 15 August 1947, after which the process of preparing a constitution was started. The Constitution was passed on 26 November 1949 in the Constituent Assembly. It was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, when the country became a republic in true sense. 26  January  was selected, because it was this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence was passed..

A REPUBLIC DAY MESSAGE 

26th January 1950 the first Republic day of India,

On this day was  adopted the constitution of India ,

In our country with the worlds largest democracy ,

Our  constitution had no place for  bureaucracy ,

Neither was there any mention  of autocracy .

Over the years we  struggled to achieve our goals ,

But  as time went by  the public lost its controls,

As many a  politicians and bureaucrats  had sold their souls .

Our tricolor flag  gives us great messages to encourage ,

Saffron  a holy color,  symbol of sacrifice and courage .

White a color depicting truth, peace and purity ,

Green  the color of our farms ,the nations  prosperity ,

The blue Ashoka chakra with its 24 spokes in clarity ,

 Is the wheel of  law of dharma for our benefit and solidarity,

Reminding us  to practice truth and virtue  in all sincerity ,

To follow these teachings  with utmost  honesty and regularity .

But it is indeed a sad scene that we see on the move ,

The saffron  renunciation  ,majority don't approve ,

Violence has replaced peace ,though most disapprove,

The green farmers plight  is continuously being charred,

They are striving very hard  ,still most of them are scarred ,

Corruption has become the national symbol  of the day,

Truth ,sincerity and good virtues have been given a holiday ,

Life is cheap,values are lost,  greed  and lust are rampant  everyday ,

The  common man is fighting continuously to avoid his doomsday .

Who can save us form this hell created in our very own  holy land?

Arise oh sleeping citizens from your slumber and give forth your hand ,

Thank you God , the magic of unity already  seems to have begun ,

The  AAM ADMI  PARTY  is here to take the corrupt   for a run .

They need to understand to use their power with good governance ,

Not to indulge in street  revolutions and create public  nuisance 

Alternate politics cannot be anarchy neither an item display ,

We have been given a chance please  let's not fritter it away  

Let us Unite to destroy the demons of greed ,violence and lust,

To live a life free of fear and full of freedom ,this task is a must.

To prosper as a nation we cannot sacrifice our virtues and morality ,

We all need to pledge to stay away  from  all vices  in  practicality,

Fight with courage  the demons to keep up our  glorious nationality.

To nurture a nation consisting of  citizens valuing  humanity and spirituality

ABOU BEN ADHAM  LOVED HIS FELLOW MEN 

Abou Ben Adhem (may his tribe increase!)
Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace,
And saw, within the moonlight in his room,
Making it rich, and like a lily in bloom,
An angel writing in a book of gold:—
Exceeding peace had made Ben Adhem bold,
And to the presence in the room he said,
"What writest thou?"—The vision raised its head,
And with a look made of all sweet accord,
Answered, "The names of those who love the Lord."
"And is mine one?" said Abou. "Nay, not so,"
Replied the angel. Abou spoke more low,
But cheerly still; and said, "I pray thee, then,
Write me as one that loves his fellow men."

The angel wrote, and vanished. The next night
It came again with a great wakening light,
And showed the names whom love of God had blest,
And lo! Ben Adhem's name led all the rest.

WNEN YOU LOVE GOD THEN ONLY YOU CAN LOVE OTHERS EQUALY 
To be a really good spiritual person, it is more important to love other people than anything else .The angel in  the poem appears to be concerned with asking whether people are religious, but in fact it turns out that God is not concerned with that but what  God likes is that  Ben Adhem loves his fellow men, and this is what God wants him to do rather than following other forms of religion. Instead of God, Ben Adhem  loves his fellow men .This love of fellow people leads to God’s blessing.
The angel carries not only the message of Abou’s placement on the list in the golden book, but the message that people worthy of God’s love, blessing, and pathway to heaven are the ones who don’t have superficial faith in a deity, but a faith that proves a perpetual kindness to people.When you love God then only can you love others equally .

WHO IS ABU BEN ADAM ?
He is one of the most prominent earliest ascetic Sufi Saint .Abu Eshaq Ibrahim ibn Adham  of Arab descent was born in Balkh .He was King of Balkh who renounced his throne for a spiritual kingdom and wandered to live a life of complete asceticism, earning his bread in Syria by honest manual toil until his death in c.165 AH (782 AD). According to Arabic and Persian sources Ibrahim ibn Adham received a warning from God through Khidr  ( a righteous servant of God who possesses great wisdom or mystic knowledge) who appeared to him twice ,following which Ibrahim abdicated his throne to take up the ascetic life .He is described in the Kashf-al-Mahjub, written by Ali Hujwiri (Data Ganj Bakhsh), as "unique in this path; the chieftain of his contemporaries, and a disciple of al-Khidr."

My love for you oh lord 
Transcends  me to love one and all ,
To bathe in your radiant light  
and make my fellow men's day bright 

Blessed am I in your lap 
holding your fingers in their  gap 
The magic I feel deep inside 
is the  sublime souls delight

Let me be in this  magical trance 
my heart is in a crazy  love dance 
Love for all ,is all that I can see 
For you and all my fellow men and  me 

The Soul smiles in silent love 
Touching new heights  high above 
Let this living dream never end

MY BELOVED KRISHNA 

Love struck am I 

as days pass by ,

sweet flute echo's  I hear ,

but can't find you near 

This hide and seek  dear 

Is distressing to bear ,

Your absence makes me cry 

It's now so many days ,

If many more days go  by,

I may wither and pass away,

The sun rises and sets,

It never  ever forgets ,

keeps on smiling each day,

spreads its golden Sunrays ,

My eyes keep searching for you , 

but you  seem to forget?

The full moon recedes to 

disappear one day and 

to appear  and grow again,

lighting the dark night ,

With its full moon light,

you seem to forget,

to do even that.

I stare in the dark ,

searching for a spark .

alas it's still very dark .

The fire and ice ,

I feel  deep inside,

Leads me to you,

why do you forget,

Not to be with you 

Is what I detest ,

My heart sobs in pain .

Am I waiting in vain ?

Even if you say that 

you don't love me anymore,

I know  my beloved 

your love overflows .
