THE LION AND THE MOUSE

There was a cute and pretty mouse ,

She was searching for a lovely house ,

 A house full of warmth ,trust and love ,

These qualities reigned very  high above .

Her hunt took her far and wide ,

She had her loving parents as her guide ,

Her suitor had to be strong and caring,

 He also needed to be understanding and sharing .

Their search took them to the lions den ,

A smart handsome lion they spotted then,

Surprisingly the lions welcomed the family of mice,

In no time they became friends ,all feeling very nice .

The smart lion was smitten by the beautiful mouse,

He proposed to  her to become his spouse ,

The mice family pondered  if it was right 

To give their delicate daughter to a family with such might .

The lion assured them he would always be by her side,

Protect and love her and do as she abides,

He pleaded with her parents to give him her hand ,

The mouse was very happy as all this seemed so grand .

Wedding bells were now ringing in  mice land ,

At this amazing marriage ,with a lilting music band ,

A wedlock between the mouse and a lion was unheard,

The mice land was decorated with colorful ribbons unfurled .

Though the lion could not be tamed by the pretty mouse,

But still they live so happily together in their house ,

Their two pretty daughters are delicate like their mother ,

They are also very strong ,like their mighty lion father.

An adorable  and charming  couple  by all means ,

We all love their company ,be it in any scene,

They always spread such pleasant  and   happy  vibes 

We pray to God Almighty  to bless them and their tribes .
