Our carefree ways
No worry ,
No hurry ,
No burdens of stress ,
Life was far from a mess ,
We laughed ,
And we played
The world was ours ,
No feelings we barred,
The birds and the flowers ,
We loved all alike
Small wonders around ,
Kept us spell bound ,
Life was simple and sweet ,
Every moment was a treat
Wish we could rewind ,
God that would be so kind .
