PEACE COMES FROM WITHIN 

Peace ,happiness and love are our essential  innate nature. Looking into the eyes of an innocent little baby clearly reveals that we are all born with peace and  bliss in tune with our beautiful soul our very true being .

Over time, it seems to be the most natural thing to connect with the outside world and  in the maze of the noise and desires we stray away from the path of love and peace which slowly gets veiled with love for power and greed thus creates strands of violence and  hatred .

Inner peace comes with practicing love ,humility, honesty, patience and accepting all as life unfolds and it stays permanently only when ego and pride are washed away .We are then able to calmly see all our mistakes and work on them to fill our day with joy and peace.

To do at each moment the best we can do and not to  worry but to leave the result to the Divine's decision at his feet is the ultimate way to peace and happiness 

Where did you loose your inner peace today ? It's worth introspecting daily to be able to work on self .Only when we develop inner peace can we bring peace  to others in this world 

Dive and drown in the  deep ocean of peace 

This demanding body and  restless mind  must cease 

Let the beautiful loving soul shine and lead
There is no other zealous better way to plead 

Even after  you sing Vedic verses of Godly praise 

Its  only with peace within  that you feel God's grace 

Even after you have travelled to temples far and wide 

Peace within is the ultimate pilgrimage of life to abide 

Peace within is awakened at the Divine Feet of  God 

Surrender  with love and devotion and see HIM nod 

Peace is  not given by asking HIM in prayers 

It comes when you live life with the wisdom HE shares .

Ego and pride slowly dissolve with each dive 

Anger , greed  and hate have no reason to survive 

Happiness,love,forgiveness,humility and integrity thrive 

Heart  dances blissfully in a peaceful rhythmic drive  

Materialism can never give peace and tranquility 

Spirituality is the mantra for serenity and equanimity 

Peace radiates spiritual energy and reposes calm 

Mental peace heals emotions like a soothing balm 

Dive and drown in the deep ocean of peace 

There is no other amended way to appease 

There is no  healthier radiance then peace 

Pray in silence with faith ,bow and bend your knees 

SILENT SATSANG

The silence  which unfolds  within as we lie in the human arms of our heart  helps us to find peace Until we have stepped into the silent meadows and green  valleys of our heart, a part of our life will always be empty.

Silence carries us to our inner most sanctuary within our heart. An empty space within which is our  part of being human. It is a space calling us to find our own personal sanctuary. 

Making friends with this empty part of life one finds a vastness of peace .In silence we find the steps within to surrender and accept everything that is  in the present. It is in silence that we get all our power  step by step to come home to our inner sanctuary because In silence  only are there steps to realization to  live life with love ,humility ,compassion and perfect joy and bliss .

A bliss filled vacuum to explore 

To be silent and contemplate 

To concentrate and meditate 

Time  to look  deep within 

To feel my true self under the skin

A gratifying current  passes through 

I look at who I AM anew 

A pleasant sensation of soul kiss 

Passing thoughts witnessed in bliss 

The worldly play was my creation 

You guided me in each situation 

Won sometimes and lost sometimes 

Illusions of restless mind at times 

One by one I leave all 

Nothing here is mine to call 

It's only my inside that I recall 

What is sprouting in me 

Is mysteriously dissolving  in me 

Beginning and end both have merged 

It's a new me that has emerged  

This journey leads to a peaceful road 

Silence has washed  away heavy loads 

Love is overflowing around 

Silence gives it a sweet sound 

Humility shines like the silent night stars 

Compassion grows slowly within the heart 

Feeling  free waiting for liberation 

I AM the eternal witness of creation 

Who cares now for life or death 

Nothing more to be done till last breath

Nothing to give or take any more 

Drowned in ecstasy of the silent glow

Words have no place here

OCEAN OF HAPPINESS 

Oh God 

In the ocean of happiness of my mind 

I want to drown and sleep peacefully primed 

I searched and searched for you and cried 

It's been ages now and still you manage to hide 

Birth and death are all illusions of your creation 

Where can I find you Lord to bless me with salvation 

With out  your grace oh lord  their is no wisdom 

I crave  for your love  and blessings to feel wholesome 

Not to feel disturbed any more by Joy and sorrow 

Only when I find you will i feel liberated from tomorrow 

My mind wants to be drowned in eternal  bliss and peace 

To be relaxed silently  submerged in you and cease 

Oh God

DO YOU COPY OTHERS ?

Please ponder on the scenes  below and  find what is similar in all of them 

Scene no 1 

She smiled at me and said hello,

Feeling happy my face  glowed 

We exchanged merry pleasantries 

Present  and past loving memories 

Scene no 2 

She brushed past me without a smile 

Why then should I go an extra mile ? 

Wonder why she is behaving this way 

Don't I have my self esteem to save 

Scene no 3 

We shared good vibes and family alliance 

Despite she turned her haughty head away in silence 

I remember on my day she had not cared to wish me  

I care a two pence to greet her on her anniversary 

Scene no 4 

Oh my God she is ignoring me outright 

Do I have to bother about being polite ? 

When she ignores me it's only fair 

That  I turn away and  don't bother to care .

Scene no 5 

They were all laughing standing under the tree 

I heard them  gossiping and making fun of me 

Quickly I gathered my friends under my thumb 

And instigated then to bicker bad about them 

***Please note ..the she and I are  used just to explain the scene 

Did you find  the similarity  between them ? 

Do you think the reactions were  appropriate? 

Would you have behaved in the same way ? 

Is there anything wrong  with this type of behavior?  

Please  do not read further till you have answered these questions to yourself !!!

The similarity is that we copy the behavior  of others through out ...this is very common We tend to send the same feelings and vibrations which are sent to us . ...Whole day we are copying  and copying not only negative behavior( scenes 2,3,4,5 ) but  also positive behavior  ( scene 1 ) .This is because we don't have to think to copy .Its like believing in tit for tat 

When others hurt us we tend to hurt them but remember... 

Negative  vibrations which come from others to us can either be : - 

REFLECTED back to them without changing and that  means EGO is at work .

ABSORBED by us without reacting out of FEAR 

TRANSFORMED  to positive energy  with the power of LOVE and sent  back 

When the  energy created  by the behavior of others  is passed back in the same way without changing it, it amounts to continuous exchange of the same quality of energy and that energy goes on and on ....and when it is negative then instead of creating love ,peace and harmony in relationships  we  increase conflicts and misunderstandings  and love goes flying out of  relationships .

Rather then tending to act and sound alike Instead we need to PAY ATTENTION ,BECOME AWARE AND MAKE EFFORTS to change leaving aside our ego towards creating positive energy  from negative energy to be happy and at peace .Generally when you are good to the other person  he will also be good  to you .We must do unto others what we want done to us .The best way to break a bad habit is to create a healthy habit .

Knowing that people have a tendency to copy ...if we send positive vibrations even after receiving negative vibrations the chances are the other person will copy  you and smile ,not ignore you ,talk politely ,wish you etc , a loving attitude will start ,initially it may be only from the outside but a beginning will be made hoping for a  truly better relationship to flower  ...and the conflict will then  be on its way to resolve into  love and harmony .

We often do not know the reasons for the negative behavior of people ...may be  they were  in a disturbed mood  or it may  even be their ego ...but if we keep  to our true  personality of being a loving soul instead of waiting for them to change and  we respond to all situations by transforming with love and humility we will get love and  positive energy from them .

WHY DO I WRITE ?

                                  
                                    WHY DO I WRITE ? 

Today I was staring on this blank page feeling at a loss what to scribble .My short break in writing  was a way of trying to gather my inner thoughts ,do a little introspection ,bond more with my real world and feel the love of God .This left me counting to over 100 while hiding within myself. So over time  I’ve learned not to count, but to listen to my heart to write what I want to instead of trying to stay away .

I write because it gives me a way to dig into my mind garden and try and rearrange my thoughts,discard the pesky weeds ,shovel the dirt away and  open it up so that I  create a healthy spot  to take in what I read and share .I know for sure I don't say anything new which you have not heard or read about .I  assure you I have no delusions of grandeur and probably know as much as you do or may be even less .

I don’t write because I am inspired, I write to be inspired.For without writing I would not read about the subject ,would not crystallize  my thoughts and  would not notice the obvious ....the obvious is all around us ...

The waves ,the mountains ,the green grass .the  beautiful flowers ,the chirping birds ,the swaying  branches all have something to tell us ,but can we wait for them to inspire us ? First we need to create a mind to be inspired for nothing  flourishes on a barren stony soil  and so it is with our minds .I do believe for sure that the positive spiritual and moral affirmations we all share are meaningful in life

I don't write because my life is full of things  worthy to right about or that I am clever  and the preachy type .Its feels strange sometimes I don't have things to say or write about but then that itself makes me take a look into myself wondering why is it so ? For I know I am not perfect and hence their must be something I could still share to make our life's more beautiful .

I write because it opens me up and slows  me down .Makes me take a pause to  be in the present and understand the present better .Slows me to ponder on the happiness and the misery I see around ,slows me down to able to give my share  of fun ,laughter ,smiles ,empathy ,compassion and love to those who cross my path in what ever little way I can.

Writing makes me unburden myself, opening a release valve to  empty out all the pain and suffering and revel in  love of God and all the happy moments .Writing is a way of discovering the meaning of life and trying to change yourself and the world around you 

I love  writing in quietude,with clear intentions ,with clear focussed thoughts and keep going with  the feelings and thoughts that arise ,accepting their  rationality with calm and clarity and when done rereading  and revising as many times as i can  and  at the end I ask myself  if they bring  satisfaction peace and joy within me .

The unfinished story of women 
to live with peace  and equality 

to live with  respect and dignity 

to live with the same rights as given to men

at homes ,work places ,society and slums 

Why should men's rights be different 

God made us all equal 

We are all equally human 

Human rights of equal justice 

equal education ,equal opportunity ,

equal wages  ,equal dignity 

Stop this inhuman discrimination 
Stop treating women as your possession 

Stop treating women as objects of desire 
Stop this violence against women 
Which starts from the womb 

And goes up to  the tomb 

As long as women are abused 

due to lack of spiritual values and morality 

due to absence of responsibility 

towards the future generation 
Their can be no women security 

Make it happen 

Let us all join hands 

It needs will and understanding

It needs changing  patriarchal concept 

It needs changing inhuman mindset 

From that of a male chauvinism 

From that of exploiting feminism 

To equality and individualism

COLORS OF LIFE

Colors colors and colors all the way 

Life is a play of colors every day 

Colors come not to stay but fade away 

Shades of happiness sorrow laughter and play 

Each color brings a special meaning to life 

Paints the journey of  life  interesting to survive 

Mingling and  complimenting each other 

Emotions of life's  changing weather 

Every color comes in so many shades 

Each wanting to be hugged and embraced 

Imagine if their were no colors in life 

How would  fun love and laughter thrive ? 

A colorful symbol of love between nature's miracles 

Sun rays kissing the raindrops O ! how spiritual !!!

Creating a  beautiful rainbow which never lasts long

A welcome peace  sign after a roaring thunder storm 

Black clouds give way to a charming bow in the sky 

Decorated  with seven radiant colors to  bring joy 

The divine white  sparkle speaks of grace 

The flapping wings of love and freedom in space 

White doves flying in pairs high overhead 

Heralding  peace in the sumptuous sky spread 

The  while lilies ,the  summer clouds ,the snow 

The pristine purity of white imparts a serene glow 

The myriad shades of reds pinks and violets 

Are colors  of love moods to beseech and beset 

The  blue's and  the green's are colors of mirth 

Of the beautiful sky ,the sea and  holy Mother Earth 

Yellows and oranges speak of love of the  warm sun 

Silvery sparkles of the moon and stars romance in fun 

Colors of  true love  and happiness 

Colors of wisdom peace and  bliss 

Colors of goodness fighting evil deeds 

Colors of compassion fulfilling needs 

Let these colorful virtues shine on each face 

O Krishna  bestow them on us all  with your grace 

O  My Beloved Krishna   

Which Color should I choose today 

To drench you with love  on this  holy HOLI  day 

Yellow and green will feel bad if I choose  pink and red 

Let us dance  to the  enchanting music of your flute 

With bliss  in all  the  beautiful colors fully drenched 

Smiling  Sakhi's and  Sakha's have filled their water guns

All  colors are your  lovely creations to sway with  fun 

O  My Beloved Krishna ,

Your love  is the only unchanging color of  my life 

It's your love only which makes me feel alive 

All other colors of life are a passing phase 

Only the color of your love is my eternal embrace ..

May  the colors of friendship, togetherness and spirituality

Fill your life with love ,laughter, happiness and tranquility
