After my memorable first date ,
My heart just sailed and skate,
He now insisted for more,
I knew I could not ignore.
"A movie with me " ,he said,
I felt extremely shy to go ahead,
"Dr Zhivago"was running then,
So that's how we went out again.
The hall was dark and full,
I kept a distance despite his pull,
Our elbows occasionally knocked,
He apologized ,it was then that we talked.
"Are you enjoying the movie ".?he asked
"Omar sharif and Julie Christie I love"
I said. "And what about me "? he remarked,
"See the movie first" , I blushed and put him off.
He gently took my hand in his,
"Do you mind if I see it like this"?
I don't know why I did not pull it back,
Till the end he held it like that.
When I tried to free my hand from his tight grip,
He smiled and charmingly stared at me throughout,
"It's crowded,don't leave my hand you may slip"
On saying this ,he valiantly escorted me out,
That's when I thought I should have no doubt!
