When will the day come in my country ,
When women will live without fear,
Travel alone with full courage any place far or near .
Have faith in our guardians of law and order ,
So that uncouth citizens fear to cross the descent border .
When will the day come in my country ,
When no girl child will be sacrificed before or after birth,
The men will realize the women's real worth ,
They will treat them with respect and equality in all fields of life ,
Wether she is a student , working woman or a housewife
When will the day come in my country ,
When girls are safe given the same liberty like boys ,
Wether its in their education ,what they wear or what they voice ,
Their freedom like boys does not create public noise.
They are allowed to live their life as per their choice .
When will the day come in my country ,
Where goddesses are worshipped and offered prayer,
But the women are mentally and physically abused without any care ,
To give them their birthright demands ,same as the men share ,
So that they get equal opportunities ,to do what they dare .
The day will come ,when we all awaken our inner souls,
Unite , act and raise our voices enough to reach our set goals .
