RIPPLES

                    

                

The lake water was calm and clear,
Life seemed so cheerful with no fear,

Suddenly there was a small splash,

Which  then disappeared in a flash .

A few ripples appeared ,and quickly disappeared. 
The fleeting hurt it felt was not much feared,

The water  soon recovered its serene form again,

Flowing steadily  and joyfully  without  any pain.

A naughty little boy was  playing by the side,

Throwing pebbles in the water was what he liked.

He then fetched  big ones and threw them with all his might ,

The storm it stirred  now was huge and a sad sight .

The peace of the  flowing water was visibly  disturbed ,

The life within it was stressed and perturbed.

As if telling the naughty boy "How can you be so cruel"

"Your pranks  have  given you momentary happiness,

But the life within my heart  is disturbed and in distress,
The anguish that I suffer is beyond me to suppress ".

This is  exactly what happens in our life,

When  we are jolted  by something unexpected,

Our mind looses its balance  and we struggle to strive,
Life seems out of control,our heart feels deprived,

Thats when we must gather enough courage and strength 

Having trust and faith in God ,who will guide us to any length.
